Specialising in Reactive Dogs
If your dog lunges, barks, or struggles around other dogs or people, walks can become stressful. Many owners have tried different approaches without seeing lasting results. Reactive dogs are my specialty, and I help owners work through these challenges so walks can feel normal again.
I’ve been helping dogs and their people for years, with a Certificate III in Dog Behaviour and Training. I work with all kinds of dogs—from high-energy working breeds to quieter family pets. Some dogs need more structure, others need more motivation, and that's why every plan is tailored to your specific dog and situation.
Training happens at your place, on your schedule. We work in your actual neighbourhood where your dog needs to behave—practical, real-world training that sticks.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can you help my reactive dog?
Yes. Reactive dogs are my specialty. I work with dogs who lunge, bark, or struggle around other dogs or people. The key is understanding what's triggering your dog and building new responses through consistent, real-world practice. Most owners see noticeable improvement within the first few sessions.
Why do you train in my home instead of at a facility?
Because that's where the issues usually show up. Your dog needs to learn to behave on your street, in your actual environment. Training in a facility often doesn't carry over to real life. We work on your front door, your walking routes, and the specific situations that come up day to day.
Where are you located and what areas do you service?
I'm based in Deer Park, Melbourne, and provide mobile dog training throughout the western suburbs. I regularly service Footscray, Sunshine, Werribee, Altona, Caroline Springs, Hoppers Crossing, Point Cook, Tarneit, Melton, St Albans, and surrounding areas.
What if my dog isn't reactive – can you still help?
Absolutely. While reactivity training is my main focus, I also work with dogs on foundation skills like loose leash walking and reliable recall. If you're looking for puppy training, obedience, or something else, contact me and we'll discuss what works for your situation.
How much does training cost?
Training packages vary depending on your dog's needs. I offer an initial consultation to assess your situation and discuss options. Contact me for a personalised quote.
Belgian Malinois Experience
I breed and train Belgian Malinois, which has taught me a lot about working with driven, high-energy dogs. That experience carries over to all the dogs I work with—whether you've got a boisterous labrador, a nervous rescue, or something in between.
If you do have a Malinois (or another working breed), I understand the unique challenges they bring. They need the right outlets for their energy and clear structure to thrive. I can help you channel that drive into something positive.
I also compete in IGP sport, so if you're curious about sport foundations, tracking, or advanced obedience for your dog, I'm happy to chat about whether that path suits your goals.
